Enclosed please find a copy of the "Proposed Decision and Findings of
Compliance for the La Plata Ho. 1 Mine", a private mine in La Plata County.
The Division's proposed decision is to approve the permit application with
eight stipulations.
The proposed decision document is being forwarded to you to comply with our
regulations, specifically Rule 2.07.4(2)(c).
The Division has forwarded the public notice pertaining to this decision to
the Durango Herald for publication. This publication should commence in the
very near f=uture. As you know, the comment period for requesting a formal
public hearing is for thirty (30) days following the first publication.
