Attached is: (1) correspondence from Mr. T. K. Henry <br />to Charles Curlee, dated 7/13/77, (2) a letter from me to Jim Hicks, <br />dated 10/27/78 and (3) a proposal from Charles Curlee to me, showing <br />a meeting date with D.O.W. Friday, July 29, 1977. People involved <br />in the interaction with D.O.W. were: <br />1. Tom Henry, D.O.W., Grand Junction. Henry is now located <br />in Gunnison <br />2. Charles Herter, Local D.O.W. Biologist in Hayden <br />3. Jim Hicks, D.O.W., Steamboat Springs _ <br />9. Charles Curlee, Wildlife Specialist, D 'a ~'l <br />5. David Johnson, Vegetation Specialist, $aydrn "?~' - <br />6. C. C. Legal, W. R. Grace, Environmental Representative <br />This is the story: <br />Grace presented wildlife information prepared by 3R Corp. to the <br />State M.L.R, along with other environmental information. D.O.W. responded <br />that they were not satisfied with certain aspects of the study, (letter <br />dated 7/13/77). We arranged to have a meeting in Hayden on July 29, <br />1977 attended by D.O.W., 3R and Grace. <br />An understanding was reached with D.O.W. that all data, information, <br />and a mitigation program were satisfactory except that the possibility <br />of a sharp tail shrutting ground might exist just west of the present <br />plant office. <br />
