Total <br />6,273 cubic yards. <br />The remainder, 726 cubic yards, is in the pile aa3acent to <br />the sediment pond. It was measured by measuring height of the <br />pile (surveyed) and calculating the volume of a cone. Base of the <br />pile was also fixed by survey. <br />Base = 5,600 ft.2 <br />Height = 10.5 ft. <br />Volume of cone = 1/3 (5,60U ft.2) 10.5 <br />= 19,bUU ft.3 <br />= 726 yds.s <br />726 <br />+ 6,273 <br />6,999 cubic yds. <br />
