These sites have no subsurface manifestations and will
yield no further information important to prehistory. No further
work is necessary on these sites.
S~~S /5LA6968 ~/LA7182 ~SLA7196 "5LA7199 /SLA7202 5LA7367
/~LA7368 /7LA7369 /5LA7370 ~ 5LA7371 i 5LA7372 5LA7373
;n1/ /SLA7374 /~LA7375 /5LA7482
'~ 1ggb. Portions of two potentially eligible sites, 5LA7208 and 5LA7181,
~~ have been recommended for avoidance. We recommend that an
archaeologist help in the placement of a barrier fence between the
construction zone and the sites to insure avoidance.
Until the mitigation is completed for site 5LA7186, it must be
avoided by all construction activities which involve portions of
the Rail Spur/Loadout Facility, the P3 Haul Road and the Canyon
Road.
If we may be of further assistance please contact Jim Green at
(303) 866-4674. ~,f
~ ~ ° C~-
Sincer ly,
~~
~awes E.
