She has reviewed mining permits for <br />compliance with applicable environmental regulatio0.t, assessed on-the-ground conformance with permi[ted <br />plans and legal requirements and provided permitting, bond release and litigation support for mining firms. <br />Ms. Begej specializes is engineering diversion channels and resenroirs for water management and sediment <br />conuol. <br />Ms. Begej has conur~uted to the development of multiple reclamation plans and bond release requests. She <br />has directed the collection of data requtred to meet phased bond release requests at Colorado coal mines for <br />both vegetation and hydrologic performance standards. She has engineered channels reinforced with <br />vegetation, geotextiles, rip-rap and shotcrete for site-specific installs[ions.
