Westmoreland Atine Plan Colorado 25079 submitted n
January 9, 1978.
This office has received mine plan supplements to include ahe following:
1) An envelope containing a letter dated February 23, concerning
the mine plan and mining procedures for the Color do West-
moreland Orchard Valley Mine. The map within thi envelope
is identified as enclosure Map 17 tlla[ should be laced
in Volume 2 of the Orchard Valley Mine plan. Theiletter
should be placed in the front of Volume 1-A text ~us[
behind another letter of February 23 on the minin¢, plan
that is included in the Text.
2) The environmental portion that was answered for the EPA
concerning the mining plan has been supplemented by infor-
mation of Colorado Westmoreland, Inc., in answer ~o a let-
ter from the EPA dated February 1.3, 1978. Tllis igforma-
tion should be made a part of the mining plan as a sep-
arate unit as contained in the manila folder.
3) Revisions to the Environmental Impact Analysis, tq make
it more complete, please replace EIA with the enclosed
revised copy.
Please include the enclosed information with mine plan to rhake
it more complete.
