DANIELSON, DEPUTY STATE ENGINEER <br />SUBJECT: ROCKCASTLE CO.-GRASSY CREEK MINE #1, ROUTT COUNTY, <br />APPLICATION FOR MINLNG AND RECLAMATION PERMIT <br />We have received additional information concerning the water rights to be <br />used for a surface coal mine near Hayden. A letter dated May 2, 1978, <br />from Robert H. Gleason, attorney for the Rockcastle Company, indicates <br />that an application has been filed with the Division 6 Water Court for <br />storage rights for industrial and livestock use.
