BRL - No response required. <br />xvui) DMG -Please provide the requested baseline data for the North Fork of the <br />Gunnison River. Downstream flow measurements may be required in the future, <br />if mine site discharges occur. <br />BRL -Baseline data for the North Fork of the Gunnison River is enclosed. <br />14. DMG -Response accepted. BRL - No response required. <br />14a. DMG - Is there airy possibility that arty of the irrigation ditches listed in the permit <br />application could be affected by subsidence impacts? Please provide a brief discussion <br />regarding the potential, or the lack thereof, for such impacts. <br />BRL - No. Section 2.05.6 (6) "Subsidence Survey, Subsidence Monitoring, and <br />Subsidence Control plan" of the permit contains a discussion on how subsidence, if it <br />occurs, could impact all structures and renewable resource lands which exist within the <br />permit and adjacent area. The irrigation ditches, referred to, would be considered <br />structures and have been considered as such in this section of the permit. <br />15. - 17a. No Response required. <br />17b. DMG - We understand drat additional SEO well permitting is not needed for wells <br />intended for the sole purpose of monitoring water quality grad quantity. <br />BRL -Enclosed is a letter dated November 13, 1996 from the SEO which explains the <br />DMG's authority supersedes the DWR's with regard to monitoring wells and sealir-g <br />same. Please insert this letter into Volume III, Exhibit 14. <br />Please forward arty documentation which verifies resolution of the water rights issue as <br />soon as such documentation becomes a~nilable. <br />BRL -Enclosed is a letter dated November 27, 1996 from the Division Engineer, Kenneth <br />W. Fox, which confirms BRL's water rights are valid. The letter should be inserted into <br />Volume III, Exhibit 14. <br />18. - 20. No response required. <br />21. DMG - Please forward the wetlands-related Army Corps of Engineers information as <br />soon as it becomes available. <br />BRL -See item 7. <br />22. - 24. No response required. <br />
