Iron
The iron concentration range from 5.9 to 106.0 ppm.
Lead
The Montana Overburden Guidelines established a toxic
concentration level at 20 ppm. The values recorded for this
parameter range from less than 0.1 to 5.1 ppm which is well
under the toxic level.
Manganese
The raage of manganese values is 0.2 to 6.5 ppm.

Mercury
The levels of mercury encountered are all less than 0.1 ppm
thus no reclamation problems due to high concentrations of
mercury are expected.
Molybdenum
The Montana Guidelines establish a toxic level for molybdenum

at 0.3 ppm or greater. Of the strata to be affected only the
floor rock of the Cass seam at 0.47 ppm has a value higher than
the recommended level. Care will be taken to recover the exposed
rock as soon as possible after removal of the coal.
16Z
