the coeffici~ant of determination (a measure of the closeness •
of the data points to the line or th.e fraction of the total
variation in s/Qw that is accounted for by the regression).
The "r" used in the steady state as::umption equation (lower
part of the data sheets) is always set equal to one foot and
represents the distance from the center of the pumping well at
which the dr.swdown measurements were made.
d. A table has been provided at the front of Appendix 7-3 to
clarify which wells were the pumpi7ig wells during aquifer
tests. The ;pumping wells for any given aquifer test are the
monitoring site listed corresponding to a specific date. On
the typed test data sheets, the pumping well in those cases
where multiple, proximate wells were analyzed (YOV3 and YOV4,
YL5 and YL6, YOVS and YW2, YOV28-'YWU28, YOV29-YWII29, and
YOV30-YWU30) is always the one identified by its site ID over
the "discharge reading" column which contains discharge data
for each cori-espondinq time and/or th~~ correct site ID for the
pumping well is identified at the to:p of the page.
N/A Text and table changes have been made for the Surface Water
Suitability information presented or: Pages 106 through 120.
These changers were made to address errors in the original
interpretation of domestic, irrigation, and livestock water
use standards. See insertion instructions for the page
changes.
N/A During the February 1, 1995 meeting between SCC and CDMG •
personnel in Denver, the CDMG reque:;ted SCC to describe and
qualify limitations of stilling well communication ports. SCC
has revised the "Sage Creek" subsection within the
"Streamflow" section of Tab 7 to provide this clarification.
Tab 12 - Coal Resource Recovery Plan
26. Potential landslide areas recognized by the Division have been
delineated on Exhibit 6-1, Site Specific Geology. These areas
will be field verified during the 1995 field season. The
mining plan was updated to address potentially unstable areas
and active landslide areas during thEn mining operations. The
Division specified three particular areas of concern with only
one being ir; the first permit term. The potential unstable
area noted by the Division on the we:;t upper slopes and gulch
of the Pond 11 drainage is not within the current mine plan
boundary and should not present any problems. The monitoring
road to Pond 11 has also been removed. Therefore, Seneca does
not feel this area will be affected at the present time. It
is also unclerstood that should an~r landslides occur, the
Division wi:Ll be notified immediately and a monitoring and
remediation plan submitted for approval and implementation.
Tab 13 - Facilities
27a.
