Uep,. ui~i~~Myj ResoulrcesON
Dear Susan:
After reviewing the approved sediment control plan for the
Pryor Mine with Bill Wilson, problems with pond adequecy and long
term planning have arisen. For this reason we desire that the sedi-
ment control plan be revised to incorporate the following changes:
1. Pond A will not be installed
2. Pond Z will be expanded to handle the drainage that Pond A
was designed for
3. Another pond will be constructed in the flat area south-
west of the existing pit which will handle runoff from
the remainder of the currently projected pit and will
provide sediment control plan for any future pits in
the permit area,
An aerial topographic map of the area is being prepared at a
scale of 1"=100' with a 2 feet contour interval however this map
will not be available until the end of February. This map will be
of great value in the sediment pond revisions. It is therefore re-
quested that a small area exemption from sediment control be grant-
ed for the extension o£ the pit until the revised plan can be sub-
mitted and approved. It is expected that the revised plan can be
submitted in late March, 1984. Please notify us of your decision.
Sincerely,
PANORAMA RESOURCE SERVICES, INC.
Gre LewicV~.E.
cc: Bill Wilson
GL/mf
