I_i:(~.:.',I~nl~ <br />This amendment will include a 1.32 acre opal crushing and load out facility which <br />~mprises a railroad siding into the Bourg permit. Coal mined at the Bourg mine <br />will be hauled to the load out and stockpiled. The gal will then be crushed <br />and conveyed directly into rail cars for shipment. <br />Location <br />The load out site is approximately 2 miles north of Cocxlrey, Colorado, in Jackson <br />County, and is approximately 11 miles from the Bourg mine. The load out is an <br />old railroad siding used by a previous mining operation. Stockpiles from the <br />old operation still exist on adjacent land. (See map for legal description.) <br />Operation <br />1. Signs. The load out site will be signed as re,luired by Colorado regulations. <br />A sign, posted at the entrance to the site from the highway, will show the <br />name, address and telephone number of the permittee and the NII~RB permit number. <br />The load out perimeter will also be marked. <br />2. Roads. Access to the load out is directly from Colorado Highway 125. A ~lorado <br />state highway access perntit has been applied for by the landowner, Union Pacific <br />Railroad. <br />3. Streams. No stream crosses this property. <br />4. Drainage. The site will be graded to slope at `~$ to 18 toward the existing <br />impoundment. Drainage will collect in this inq~oundment. <br />5. Inq~oundments. An existing impoundment approximately 900 ft.2 and 4 ft. deep <br />will be used for dust control. <br />
