As we <br />discussed, the mine is approaching the Northern boundary defined in the <br />current mine and reclamation plan. Specifically Lot 21 as described on <br />pages 3 and 5 of the current mine and reclamation plan (Attachment 1). <br />Lots north of this area are within Federal Coal Lease Number C-033301. <br />This area is properly defined in the new permit application. With the <br />August 28, 1981 deadline for the review period now in effect, a request <br />to be allowed to continue mining into the defined area is made. <br />Pages 3, 4 and 5 of the new permit application are included as Attachment <br />II. Note the specific lots of interest are 16, 17 and a portion of 19. <br />An Operation Plan Map is included as Attachment III. Current progress <br />and the projected date of reaching the northern limit of Lot 21 are shown <br />on the map. <br />The following mining statistics apply: <br />Present Mining - 5 entry North Development on 80 foot center line <br />square pillars. <br />Projected Extraction Rate - 800 tons per day or 16,800 tons per month. <br />Actual Extraction Rate - 615 tons per day. <br />(for month of June 1981) <br />
