An analysis list from GDS Labs is enclosed for your
comments.
a. The Messier Well (Cliff House SS)
b. The Mongreen Well (Coal Gulch Alluvium)
c. The Coal Gulch Mini Well (Menefee Formation)
2. Monitor Well AM5 in the Northwest Corner of Section 16 Township 35N
Rg 10W NVVPM is not controlled by Pennsylvania West, either by
Surface rights or mineral rights. This well was accessed on October 27,
1992 and it was found that the submersible pump and 1" diameter pipe
had been removed by unknown parties. We have made arrangements
with Maverick Pump Co., owned by John Frank, to reinstall a new pump
and pipe to enable water samples to be taken. We wish to note that the
AM5 location is not accessible by vehicles during the winter months, and
due to the fact that a generator is required to power the 326 foot deep
pump, water samples can only be taken now and in the Spring. Would
you Confirm that this i5 acceptable to your Department.
