The letter
specified a deadline of November 24, 2000 for submittal of the requested information.
The permit expiration date was November 7, 2000. Today you informed me that a
complete response to our letter of November 16, 2000 cannot be provided by November
24, 2000 because Bruce Addington intends to visit the site on Monday, November 27,
2000. In accordance with your request, we will extend the deadline to November 29,
2000. Because this matter is linked to the pending bonding problems for the Lorencito
Mine permit, the associated NOI and the New Elk permit, we request that a complete
response to our November 16, 2000 letter be submitted no later than November 29, 2000.
Thank you for your continued cooperation in this matter.
Sincerely,
Program Supervisor
Cc: Hernandez
Gorham
Long
Linden, AGO
