Recommended methods for soil analysis are <br />provided in Attachment B. <br />Vegetation Information - Rule 2.04.10 <br />1. In lieu of providing site-specific vegetation information, the <br />applicant should provide a description of the preceding vegetation <br />communities derived from SCS information, surrounding vegetative <br />communities, or other permit application information which is <br />relevant. The description should include information on species <br />composition, cover, productivity and woody plant density. <br />The applicant shall contact the appropriate agency to determine the <br />potential for impacts for rare and endangered plant species. This <br />information and documentation of contact with the appropriate agency <br />shall be provided to the Division. <br />Fish and Wildlife Information - Rule 2.04.11 <br />1. The applicant has not provided the documentation in Exhibit 14 as <br />stated in the text. A copy of the request for comments from the <br />Division of Wildlife should be provided to the Division. <br />2. The applicant needs to document on what basis they make the statement <br />that there are no rare or endangered animal species occurring on the <br />permit or adjacent areas. The Division will accept documentation in <br />the form of contacts with the Division of Wildlife, the U.S. Fish and <br />Wildlife Service or other appropriate game management agencies. <br />Operations Plan - Rules 2.05.3 <br />1. The applicant needs to address the resource recovery requirements in <br />terms of the overlying B and C Coal Seams. <br />
