<br />PHASE I1 <br />DETAILED STUDY PLAN <br />TasL• I: Ground 6:ate~ Baseline Studv <br />The gro w.d water baseline study will consist of two principal activities: <br />(1) tell drilling and completing and (2) aquifer testing. <br />The trek drilling and completing activity trill involve the drilling of the <br />following four wells: <br />a• One core holes will be completed as a dual completion well <br />in the E and D Seams. The location of this core hole will <br />be the responsibility of GMCC since it will provide impor- <br />taut coal resource data. In addition, this well will be <br />used to obtain a gradient of the potentiometric surface for <br />the E Seam and D Seam aquifers. <br />b.
