All of the
revisions have been labelled as "REVISED May 15, 1981". The
revisions are enclosed as two (2) separate volumes.
Volume 1 consists of the responses to the Preliminary Adequacy
Review Letter. The letter is enclosed in the front of Volume 1
and the location of the response to the concerns in the letter
are identified by Page, Figure, Table, Drawings or Map numbers
in large type. A complete list of revised Figures, Tables,
Drawings and Maps are included. They are inserted in the
appropriate places in the report.
Volume 2 is the Slbpe Stability Analysis for the West Portal Area.
An inspection on October 24, 1981, by Dan Mathews and LeRoy Black
of the main drainage at Bear Mine and the "permanent runoff
diversion" referred to in the Preliminary Adequacy Review letter,
revealed the drainage to be full of debris and natural litter.
This indicated the scarcity of runoff in the drainage and lessened
the importance of the diversion for the remainder of Bear Mine's
operation. The diversion is not permanent and will be eliminated
at the end of the Bear Mine's operation. This change has been
noted on the revised figures.
Contact this office if you have any questions or require additional
data.
/~~ ~C 1Z0Y Oy/ALk 6y /
E.
