Within a radius of
six miles of the smelter are located the greatest mines in
Colorado, The Virginius, Yankee Girl, Guston, Camp Bird, Gold King,
Sunny Side, Tom Boy, Smuggler-Union and others too numerous to
mention, having an aggregate output of over $150,000,000.
Our Saratoga has a recorded output exceeding $250,000 and has
in sight hundreds of thousands of tons of ore assaying under $25
per ton.
In the days of the operation of this mine, no ore was shipped
that ran less than 40 ozs. silver per ton. We mention this fact
to lay special stress on the immense values that can be saved by a
Pyritic Smelter whlch is especially adapted ,to the. treatment of
low grade ores containing gold, silver and copper.
On our mill-si.te is a solidly constructed.bui~ding 186x192
and 75 feet high, having five floors, and containing a reverberatory
furnace for the treatment of high grade gold-silver ores.
We propose to remodel this smelter putting in a pyritic
furnace of 100 tons daily capacity, in which we can extract all
values at an expense of $3.00 per ton.
To furnish part of the necessary funds the Board of Directors
havo a„4hnainnA +l.o cnlc of Gn nnn L. 1... of ikc +.. .++,, .. ~.
..v v.i v.Vt rV Yll v/ J41V V1 VV,VVV IJ 11Wi Vll V• 1Y9 YL VaNll ~ly g4Vti ,~
at 50e per share, issuing no certificate for less than 100 Shares
or over 5,000.
