' <br />The cable is a 5~8 in ., crucible steel. <br />The cable has been in use six months. A safety chain <br />and clamps aro used an the end of the cable. This <br />has not been changed for two ID6nths. <br />E+o safety dovice is used to prevent over- winding. <br />116 inch wire attached•to a 6 inch gong is employed for <br />a bell line and signal bell. <br />The State Code is emnloyed. Thin code is posted only <br />in the engine room. <br />Persona are prohibited from riding on loaded buckets.. <br />Thin order is not posted near the collar of the shaft. <br />The shaft is a.t all stations provided with doors, and <br />is •aecured by pillar of ground upon each side sufficient <br />to insure safety. <br />All winzes and mill holes are covered or surrounded with <br /> <br />guard rails, <br />The shaft is being sunk.
