SURFACE PLANT. <br />They have tv~o boilers of p0 H.P. each, made by the Pdine and <br />Smelter Supply Co. Cripple Creek water is uaed in the boilers. The <br />pressure carried is B5 lbs. The boilers vrere last inspected by <br />the Hartford insurance Company, March 25th., 1904. <br />The!/ use one Norwalk air compressor, 1G x 1G, 6 drill, and <br />one high pressure, 12 x 12. The fuel uaed is coal. <br />They use one electric hoist, 10 H.p. <br />i <br />The smith's shop is 18' x 30'. The compressor and boiler rown <br />i <br />is 30' x 60', and lp' x 24'. The compressor room, boiler rocs, <br />and blacksmith shop are under one roof, Tine fire protection is ! <br />fair. The office is 10' x 10', They have one ore bin. The water ~ <br />i <br />supply is pumped from Cripple Creek. The li~hti:r~ is electric. j <br />The tunnel is reached by a rood wa5on road. l <br />
