It tape the Sangamon rein about 400 feet from entranoe <br />of tnnnel~ and the Pandora vein .700.feet from entrance of <br />tunnel. Drifting is being carried on on both of these veins <br />'at present in both directions. There is no atoping being <br />done. Leyner drills are being used for drifting. Tho method <br />of timbering in tunnel is square seta where necessary and covered <br />with lagging. ~Yte timbers are pine and spruce prepared by hand <br />and are sufficient to secure safety. underground training is <br />done by hand. Traux steel cars are used for tramming. The <br />syabem oP ventilation is a fan and air compressor run all the <br />time. There is an upraise started for air. Candles are used <br />for lighting underground. Drainage vrater rune on aide of track <br />to a point ono hundred feet from portal of tunnel and thott it <br />goes under track to keep portal dry. <br />S T A T I S T I C S <br />Total number of feet in crosscut or tunnel 700.
