The water <br />supply is very good, consisting of one good stream called Ltiddle <br />Fork•Qnartz Creek, which flows within 75 feet of tho portal of <br />the tunnel. The aurfaoe of the mountain is oovered with a <br />good supply of growing timber. A fairly good wagon road oon- <br />neota the mine with Pitkin, and with the Colorado & Southern <br />Railroad, a diatanae of nine miles. <br />G E O L O G Y <br />A good geologioal survey has been made of the district. <br />The oharaoter of the country rook is Gray granite. <br />O R E S & O R E B O D I E S <br />The oharaeter of 'ore bodies is fissure veins. There <br />are two vei'na 'that have been struck and worked upon in the <br />tunnel, the Pandora and Sangamon veins. The strike of these <br />
