Igo l Vindicator is 4' X 8' from surface to 500
The-work at the presort.time is being carried on
from the 400 foot level to 1200, in the old workings,, }
on all upper levels and in virgin ground on the 1100
and 1200 foot levels. Maps and drawings are all kopt
up to date.
Hoisting is done with a double deck cage .and men
are~_raised ~Qlowered with hoisting machinery. ~Jeight
of load hoisted,. about 4,000 lbs.; distance 1,.200 Peet.
A 1/2" X~4" flat cable is employed and has been in-use
8 months. The Humble.Hook is used on end pf cable; it I~
is in good condition and is changed every 30 days.,.
Gage is equipped with bonnet and safety clutches.,and
were tested two weeks ago. The Plelsh Patent Automatic
out off on engine and the Humble Detaching Hook are
employed to prevent over-winding. Cager is employed
and material is hoisted.from several levels.
Electric bells, flash Tights and pull bell signals
are employed and the State Code is used, and is posted
in engine room, at collar of shaft and each level station.
Persons are prohihited from riding on loaded cage-
and. this .order is posted near collar of shift.
