The boiler was last inspected in July,.1S3C~&. <br />The hoisting plant consists of qne steam hoisting <br />engine oi' the Hendrie and Balthoff 10 1: 12 geared type. <br />The hoist is. aquippr~d with a positive indicator in <br />plain view of engineers, and hoisting engineers operate <br />1 <br />engine at engine. The age of the engineers is 3C and X10 <br />years with. five and twenty gears exiierience as engineers; <br />they are not addicted. to the use of intoxicating licvors, ,. <br />Th» engine and boiler-roam is lF3' 30'. The head <br />frame has 4 posts, 8" X 8" X 26' high', and is egaipped <br />with a 36 inch rope filled sheave vaheel. <br />x <br />The oollar of shaft (where bucleet is used} is of <br />s•ufficieht bight to prevent` persons from tripping and <br />falling in shaft, and is provides with a good and suf- <br />ficient dcor to prevent any material from falling in the <br />shaft from dumping. <br />Tne smith's shop is a frame building 12' % 20'. <br />There is no suitable protection prof*idec against :fire. <br />The ore house is 16 ` ~ 2C~' , andnas tv?o bins . <br />FJater supply is obtained from the mine and the City <br />of Victor. <br />Lighting is obtained. from the ??ueblo as~d Suburban <br />Traction and' Lighting Company, <br />The mine is reached by the Lidlahd Terminal R. R. <br />:and by wagon road.' <br />The method of ore treatment employed is the milling <br />process. <br /> <br />
