<br />SECTION 20. Twenty-second.-That any person or persons operating nay metalliferous mine or ill
<br />and employing five or more men, shall report the same to the Bnrenu of 1•fines and state when work is c
<br />meaced and when stopped, and mines working continuously shall report on or before December 1, of each

<br />distnct, together with the number of men employed, directly or indirectly, the same being classified into
<br />miners, trammers, timbermen, ore assorters, mill men, teamsters, etc. The necessary blanks to carry oat
<br />the provisions oY this section shall be furnished upon application by the Commissioner of Mines.
<br />Twenty-seventh.-Any person, owner, agent, manager or lessee operating a metalliferens mine or mill
<br />in this state, who fails to comp)y with the provisions herein set forth shall be deemed guilty of a misde-
<br />meanor against t}lis act, and, when not otherwise provided, shall be jinblo to the penalty prescribed in
<br />section 13 of this act, or to a Sae of not less than twenty-five dollars ($`.5;00), nor more than three hundred
<br />dollars ($300.00), for each and every provision not complied with, or both, at the discretion oP the court.
