MINING qND MINE METHODS.
The mien shaft is four feet by eight i'eot in the clear. It j.
is seven hundred i'eet deep and there are seven levels. The shaft i
i ie timbered with 3"X 8" sawed cribbing from aurf¢ce to the five
hundred foot level and vrith aquaro sets from the rive hundred to
the L•ottom of the,ahaft. Tho third level has n direct connection ji

below the fourth :Level. At this I

atope, the ore body being; about sixteon feet in width. The vrork
