TaL•or, <br />Sup?.rintendent, August ?9th, 1905; <br />^rith regard bo improvements of conditions at the PTational <br />mine, of which you are in c!iarge, and in order to comply wit_~ the <br />law, it is imperative that a goad ladder vray be arranged S~rr all <br />stopes where men are employed. <br />F.nd that all ladders in all man-vrays be arranged as the <br />law provides.. <br />li That all stopes, vrinzee and uprafises be securely timbered. <br />That all employes working underground be i'urnished with <br />proper ventilation, <br />mhat s1:L open stopes, vrinzes and man-ways be securely <br />covered or that railings be put around the same. <br />And that the nevr state signal code be employed, and that <br />a copy oi' the er,me bs posted in the engine room, one at the <br />~ collar of the shai't and one on each level station. <br />SIr.,p,Fn, P,2.
