There Se no timber on the mountain <br />flt this pisoe. The eater supply le derived from a stream <br />called Marshall Creek. A good trail connects the mine <br />withnthe railroad. <br />G E O L O G Y. <br />A good geological survey has beep made of this distrfct. <br />The character oP the country rock is Andeaite braccia. <br />O R E S A N D O R E B O D I E S. <br />The character oP ore bodies is quartz. There are $wo <br />veins with strike Best and northwest, dip 70°, vein <br />varies in width from 2 to 5 Peet, length 4500 feet, <br />height 210 Peet. The character of vein fills ng is <br />quartz and white iron. The aharaoter of enclosing rooks <br />le andesit~breccia. There are no faults in the veins. <br />Some of the ore is concentrating Ora but mostly milling. <br />The metals are gold, silver and irony with an average <br />assay of ~]r~.00 per ton. <br />SURF ACE PLANT. <br />The surface plant consists of one smith's shop at cross <br />5b0 <br />cut and one boarding house same place. One ore bin which <br />will hold about 40 ton near tram terminal. Lighting is <br />done by electricity. Surface transportation Se done by <br />~ Aeries wire rope from aroascut to mill a dletanoe of <br />1800 feet from there to railroad by p8ok train. <br />
