<br />ying flue or more men, shall report the same to the Bntean of illines and state when work is com-
<br />meacedpand when stopped, and mines working continaously shall report on or be4ore December 1, of each
<br />year, together with the names of the owners and managers or ]eases m chards of said work, together with
<br />the poetoffice address, the name of the claim or claims to be operated, the name of the eonnty and mixing
<br />distnet, together with the number o4 men employed, directly or indirectly, the same beingg classified into
<br />miners, hammers, timbermea ore assorters, mill men, teamsters, etc. The necessary bhu,ks to carry out
<br />the provisions of this section shall be famished upon application by the Commissioner o4 Mines.
<br />Twenty-seventh.-Any person, owner, agent, managetor lessee operating a metallifemns mine or mill
<br />in this state, who fails to comply with the provisions herein set forth shall be deemed gmlEy of a misde-
<br />meanor against this act, and, when not otherwise provided, shall be liable to the penalty prescribed in
<br />section !3 of this act, or to a fine o4 not less than twenty-five dollars ($~a.00), nor more than three hundred
<br />dollars ($300,00), 4or each and every provision noE complied with, or both, at the discretion of the court.
