The Title of this Company is vested in the Sagnache
Mining and Milling Company, incorporated under the laws of
the State of Colorado, office located at Bonanza, Colorado.
The officers are P. 8. 8orrigan, W. F. pace, 0. E.~ Carey, J.
M. Manville and H. Rose. This group of claims is now under
lease.

This group of mines is located on very rough and steep
mountain, at an altitude of 9,b00 feet. The water supply ie
Prom Ferber Creek. There is some timber on the mountain.
A good wagon road connects the mine and mill with the railroad.

A good geological survey has been made of this district.
The character of the country rock is andisite.
O R E S A N D O R E B O D I E S
Character of the ore bodies is fissure veins. One vein
is being worked at *.he present time. The strike of this vein
is East and West. The dip is 60~ to the Borth, length 800
feet, height 400 feet, average width 6 feet. Character of
vein filling, lead, zinc and sulphites. Ore $hocts are con-
tinuous. Character of enclosing rocks is a.-ulislte. ldost
oY the ore is concentrating from smelting. The me*. ale are
gold sad silver, gangue, copper, lead and zinc.

Conslste of one boiler, 70 R. P. The water used in this
boiler is the water from the mine. Pressure carried, 100
pounds. One steam engine, 2b R. P. One three drill sir
compressor. Coal is used for fuel. The hoist is equipped
with indicator in plain view of the engineer, which is opperated
at the engine. The age of the englneer is 26 years. 8e has
had seven years eaperlence sa an engineer. 8e is not addioted
to the use of in+oaicating 1lquors. The size of the sheave
wheel id 36 inches. The collar of the shaft 1s of sufficient
height to prevent persons from trlpping and telling in shaft.
