experlence ae engineers. They are not addicted to the use oi' in-
toxicating liquors,
There is no buildinp,~ over shaft. The engine and boiler room
is 26 x 32. The head frame is a four post, 10 x 10, fifty feet
high. The sheave vrheel is a 4f3 irrch, rope filled. The collar of
the shaft is of sufficient hell;ht to prevent Persons from tripping
and falling into shaft, and is provided rrith a good and sufficient
door to prevent m¢tet-ial from falling into shai't from dumping.

The smith's shop is 14 x 18, coal bins, 16 x'16. The
build•inge are all of vrood, with corrugated iron roof, The engine
room, s~.ffy blacksmith, end furnace room are not under one roof.
Suitable pratection~apainst fire is provided. They have three ore
bins ^ Tyre ore house is 2~ x 32, and 4f3 i'9et high;; Water supply
is from the Altman "!a*.er Co, and the lightirrg is furnished by the
Crold Delt ~lsr,t'ric Comparry.
