The water <br />supply cosists of a large reservoir and a large puttying <br />plant with a good supply of water at all times.The sur- <br />face of the mountain is very steep and rough. A fairy <br />good wagon road connects the mine with the mill and <br />Telluride a di stance of five miles. <br />GE OL 0 GY. <br />A good geological survey has been made oP this district. <br />The dharacter of the countrT's rock is Andeaite Braocie. <br />O R E S A$ D O R E B 0 DIE Ss <br />The diaracter fore bodies is fissure veins. Ytork is <br />carried on at present in two levels, The O~gir Level Plo.l <br />and the 1600' level, 150 feet above the Ophir level. <br />The strike of these veins is SL. N.Q and the dip is 70° <br />south. The vein varies in width from three to ytrenty <br />feet, length about one mile, height 2000 feet. <br />Tha character of enclosing rocks is breccie. There are <br />no faults in the veins. The ore shoots in these veins <br />are continuous.. The character of vein filling is country <br />-2- <br /> <br />
