Mining.
~ The main opening to the mine is the "Last Chip "shaft which
is sunk to the depth of 33ffi feet,and is connected with the
~ "Hope "on the lower level,the "Hope "shaft ie also 33g feet
I~, in depth,there are three levels on each shaft,all work is
being done on the bottom level.
Hoisting.
~ Hoisting is done by electricity with a 22 H.P.motor-Weight of
load hoisted:-I000 1bs,Distanoe hoisted:-320 feet.Cable is of

lolampa and thimble-Material hoisted from one level-Aeil line
