<br />f3ECTION 2t1. Twenty-second.-That any person or persons operating any metalliferous mine or ill / j i
<br />and employing five or more men, shall report the same to the Bureau of ~Iiaes and state when work is co
<br />menced and when stopped, and mines working coatinaonsly shall report on or before December 1, of.each , i
<br />year, together with the names of the owners and managers or lessee in charge of said work, together with ~
<br />the ~ostoffice address, the name of the claim or claims to be operated, the name of the county and mining ! ,
<br />distract, together with the number of men employed, directly or indirectly, the same being classsfled into ~ ';
<br />miners, trammers, timbermen, ore assorters, mill men, teamsters, etc. The necessary blanks to carry out
<br />the provisions of this section shall be furnished upon application by the Commissioner of Dines.
<br />Twenty-seventh.-Any person, owner, agent, manager or lessee operating n metalliferous mine or mill
<br />in Uhis state, who fails to comply with the provisions herein set forth, shall be deemed gmlty of a.misde-
<br />meanor against this act, and, when not otherwise provided, shall be liable to the penalty prescnbed in
<br />section 13 of this act, or to a fine of not less than twenty-five dollars (~a.00), nor more than three hundred
<br />dollars ($300.00), for each and every provision not complied with, or both, at the discretion of the court.
