The vein fillinP is a <br />mineralized gangue and quartz. One ore chute has been <br />• opened. The enclosirc rocks are granite. Thr, ore is of a <br />smelting. concrntratfnt* and milling type, carryin~* gold, <br />silver, tellurium and iron sulphide. <br />aJRiACE PLSNT. <br />There is ona 50 h.p. return flue boilder, using mine <br />water and carrying 6~ to 80 lbs. steam pressure. Inspected <br />last Nov, 1907, using coal for fuel. One steam hoist, <br />i 8 x 10 double gearing, made by 1. 11. Lavin, Lenver, Colo. <br />Equipped with positi~•e indicator, operated from the engine. <br />engineer is thirty-six years old, has had nine years <br />experience, and is nit addicted to the ice of intoxicating <br />liquors. The abaft house is frame, 48 x 27 feet, covered <br />with a sheet iron roof. The head °rame is timber 8 x 10 in, <br />by 25 ft. Four ft, iron sheave wheel. There is no collar <br />pertielly <br />to the shaft. but it is surrounded by guard rails. A <br />smith shop frame 12 a 12. Ore shntee and bins. Lighting is <br />by oil. <br /> <br />
