' ` ~ I hnvc had estimates made on the construction of the tramway and the mill, and am ready to let con-
k. ~ ~ ~'. tenets for both with ns little delay ns possible, now that we nee assured of nn early supply of ore.
i p ~ In addition to the Aenriottn vein tnevtioned, another vein, called the Orloff, hoe been discovered and
III ~ { j ~ cross-cut over twenty feet without finding the other wall, showing it to be a vein of great width, the select
qty. ores running over 950.00 per ton, and I shall be surprised if this is not as profltnble a vein ns the Henrietta.
I
i S The course of this Orlofff vain is through about half a mile in length of The I{endrick and Gelder Smelt•
~, ~ ~t-_, ing contpnny's property and through nearly three-quarters of n mile in length of The Oliver Reduction com-
I pony's property.
- The big lend vein mentioned in the Henrietta, of over one hundred feet in width of milling material,
has been further developed both from No. 7 level and from adjoiniug mines, such ¢s the Galena Queen and
the Hercules, Erma a half to three-quarters of ^ mile distant, showing that it is not a blow-out but a power-
ful, strong vein with hundreds of thousands of tons of milling ore.
The course of this big lead vein is directly through the property of The Oliver Reduction company for
upwards of three-quarters of a mile in length.
Lesser veins have been encountered in the development work, so I have no hesitancy in pushing the con-
struction of the Crnmtaay and ibe mill and endorsing the enterprise more strongly than ever, and do this
after months of additional investigation.
At the Anna D. Extension group, belonging to The Oliver Reduction company, ]Dented in Picayuno
Gulch, development is being pushed by a cross-cut tunnel in n vet;y large vein, ore from u•hicb, sent to The
l~endrick and Gelder smelter at Sih•etton, gave returns of 934.00 and 938.00 per ton. The development is
blocking out large bodies of ore.
Some of the 1¢rgest and richest producing mines, litre the Sunnyside and the Golden Fleece, are in Pic-
n}'une Gulch, or ¢djoining.
i
1n Burrows Parlc, the sent of 1be new and rich discoveries which ore causing the most excitement
~,,,,,-., in the San Juan country, The Oliver Reduction company owns one-half interest in four properties nearby
,..,..~,
and nd,joining the Isolde, which ie shipping ore, the high grade going from 9G,000 to 92G,000 a carload, and
1 ~ n•e hnvc identical or~in nppem•ance-in otv properties, but ne •yet not running high.
1Ve hnvc not. pushed the sole of the treasury stoc]< of The Oliver Ilednetion company an account o4 the
rleln,y in finding the Henrietta vein through No. 7, but now that we hove the vein and the ore, wo will offer
the balance of the first allotment of stock at the original price of 50c per shm•q which can be paid for in
rneb and the stock delivered nb once, m• in four monthly pnvments of one-fourth down and one-fourth each
thirty days until paid fm•. As soon ne this balance is sold the price of rho stock will bo largely increased ae
I feel, ae do the other directors, that n' the prceont time the stock should sell nt double this price, or more,
from its dividend-corning capacity.
Tho Oliver Roduction company is in the position of n ]m•ge manufneturing enterprise whore they havo
prnniicnlly nn unlimited amount of row material that can he worked nt n liberal praflt, that will pay large
qunrtm•lp dividends, and hoe nn additional prospective value of many times the par vulne from the dovelop-
meat of its mines of precious metals. Our company bas the ndvmrtnge over the overage manufacturing com-
pony ns its product is always in demand. ~°'".~~ ~•~~`-"~~ ~ ~ -~~~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
All etockholdare or prospective investm•e nro invited t:n visit and inveetignto tho property for thomeelvos,
and we ero confident tlmt amb and ovm•,y ono will any that 6he proposition is ]urger and more interesting
and valuable than we have claimed for it. Respectfully Yours,
