main drifts, each 900' long, at a point 4,400' i;-om the mouth. '
6n exit tunnel, 'l0U' long, intersects main tunnel at a point '
$OU' from the mouth. An electric motor and fan Yor supplying
air is stationed at this interseotion.
Both main drifts are being driven at this timo as also
etoping and upraising. Nineteen upraises have been made, from
20' to 150' in height, oribbod and provided with laddor-ways.
Tho scopes are Pilled and blind arifts have boon run. leaving
pillars of ground botween raises.
611 work ie new and aotive. The tunnel was driven 4,400'
before intersecting the vein so that no drifting or other
wort. has boon done up to this. point.
The tunnel has a uniform grade of ly'o.
Up to date maps of undergrotutd worY.ir~e and of tho eurfaoe
are kopt in tho offioo at the mine'.
