2nd levels. This veitl, as well as the La Bella, can be developed in depth by very little expense
<br />from the Revenue workings on the 4th, 6th and 7th levels.
<br />The length of the ore chute is 120 feet and width three feet.
<br />In addition to these veins there are several lying between the Legal Tender and Revenue
<br />Cutter groups which are crosscut by the Cycle Tunnel and 7th levels of the main workings,
<br />and some of which are opened 100 feet from the surface in a drift frotn the Russell shaft, but
<br />none of these as yet are opened in payable ore.
<br />The structure of all these veins is slmilar, being a series of narrow seams, or fissures, almost
<br />or exactly parallel, often carrying values to a high.grade. They have various spurs or branches,
<br />the junctions of which, with the principal vein, form enlargements of the ore bodies. The rock
<br />between the individual vein seatns is also mineralized more or less depending upon the grade
<br />of the ore in the seams.
<br />The ore bodies are, in places, very wide, the Legal Tender reaching a maximum of thirty-
<br />two feet and the Revenue Cutter hventy feet in width.
<br />DEVELOPIVlENTS.

<br />The main working shaft of the property, four feet by fourteen feet in size, and 705 feet
<br />deep, is known as the Golden Cycle shaft, and is located 705 feet from the northern boundary
<br />and 100 feet from the eastern boundary of the property. Frotn this shaft all the veins ltereto•
<br />fore Inentioned, are being worked (witlr the exception of the Tarbet vein) by means of crosscuts
<br />and levels.
<br />The aggregate length of the workings is 7,700 feet exclusive of the tunnel level, and the
<br />individual levels on the La Bella and Tarbet veins.
<br />The Golden Cycle tunnel enters at the foot of the hill in the southern portion of this
<br />property and extends nearly due north 1,290 feet. A branch connecting with the La Bella vein,
<br />and a crosscut to the Harrison vein, aggregate 880 feet in length, and make the total 2,170 feet
<br />long. There are also folly shafts, 1, Dalzell shaft on Harrison vein, 312 feet deep; 2, Russell
<br />shaft, 150 feet deep; 3, La Bella shaft, 140 feet deep, connecting tivith top of stope 105 feet
<br />high raised from the tunnel level; and 4, 'i'arbet shaft, 133 feet deep."
<br />GENERAL SUiVlMARY.
<br />The following table shows in condensed form the particulars given in th~preceding portiolts
<br />of this report in reference to each vein, and shows the tota~ramount of ore obtainable from the.
<br />lowest level of the present workitgs to the surface from all veins thus far opened to be 41,294
<br />tons, which should yield a net profit of $640,300, showing net value of $15.50 per ton. Tllis
<br />would be equivalent to a gross assay value of 1.50 ounces per ton, or a total gross value of
<br />$1,238,820.
