The car is filled at chute,trairmied to shaft,dumped in bucket,ateel
chute being employed at shaft.
There is but one opening at all level stations. All level stations
are provided with guard rails. The shaft is secured by pillar of
ground on each lids sufficient to enaire safety.
All vrinzea or mill holes are covered or surrounded with guard
rails. Ttie shaft is not boing sunk.
Power house is 30 ft south of shaft.
The method of ore extraction is drifting with.single-hand drills,
The method of timbering is drift sets and poais,aufficient, The
timbers used are white sprure prepared at mill and are good.
The ore is shoveled into care.

The shaft is divided into two compartmente,bucket vray and ladder-

water air pipes.or bozos. Landings are provided in ladderw+ay
not to exceed 20 ft apart.
There are no winzoe or man ways connecting levels.
