Only one vein is being worked at present, its strike ~a
east and west, dip toward the south, width of vein 4~
feet, length 2000 feet, and height 700 Peet. ,
The character of the vein filling is quartz and sulphides
The ore ah~ota are continuous. The character of the enclos-
ing rocks is andesite breccia. The ore is mostl~• concen-
trating. The metals are gold, silver,, lead and copper.

One twenty Qrill air compressor, run by electricity from
the American Power station, one 50 hp electric motor,
used to hoist men and timbers, one smiths shop, 50 fe®t
from entrance to tunnel, one machine shop at mill, one
20 X 25 drying zoom, office at mill, one boarding house
at entrance to tunnel, 4 stables, 250 ton ore bin at
head of tram. The water that.ie used is from a spring in
the mine. An indicator is in plaid view of engineer. The
engineer is 50 years of age and has had years of experience
He does not use intoxicating liquors.
Surface transportation is done b•~ aerial tram and railroad.
The method of oretreatment is by concentration. The
mine leas a 80 stamp~ll.

All excess ponder is stored in a magazine about 300 feet
from entrance to tunnel. About 2000 pounds are kept on
