There is some timber near the mine. <br />A good wagon road connects the mine with the railroad. <br />G E O L O G Y. <br />A good geological survey has been made of this district. <br />The character of the•counrty rock 1s sedimentary. <br />O R ?; S A 11 D O E E B O D I E S. <br />The character of ore bodies is fissure vein e. There ~De <br />5 ~eina in the group, pith strike northwest and south- <br />e'eet, dip toward the west. The average width cf the vein <br />is fotitr feet. - <br />The character of vein Yiliing is quartz, lead and iron <br />sulphide. The ore shoots are continuous. The character <br />of enclosing rocks is quartzite. The ores are both <br />smelting, concentrating and milling.
