j Thia group of mines is located =Y upon a rough and very
steep Mountain and with an altitude of 9000 feet. The
water supply consists of one small stream from Bridal
Yell-creek which Se piped to boarding house end tunnel.
The surface of the mountain ie covered with a liberal
supply df growing timber. A.fairly good trail conneote
the mine with Ouray a distance of three miles.

A good geological survey has been made of this district.
The oheraoter of the country rock is Badde4 linostone
and quartsitee.
OREB AND ORE BODIES.
The oheraotar of ore bodies is reniaoement deposits in
line end quartsite in two oontaote, these here been

reitt that has been worked upon. The strike of this vein
