<br />$&oTION 20. Twenty-second.-That any person or persons operating any metalliferous mine or
<br />and emp ]eying 8ve or more men, shall report the same to the Bnrean oY 1lfines and state when work is com-
<br />menced and when stopped, and mines working continnoosly shall report oa or before December 1 of each
<br />year, together with the names of the owners and managers or lessee is charge of said work, toget~rer with
<br />the postoffice address, the name oP the claim or claims to be operated, the name of the county and mining
<br />diatnet, together with the number of men employed, directly or indirectly, the same being classified into
<br />miners, trammera, timbermen, ore asaorters, mill men, teamsters, eta. The necessary blanks to carry out
<br />the provisions of this section shall be furnished upon application by the Commissioner of Mines.
<br />Twenty-seventh.-9ny person, owner, agent, manager or lessee operating a metalliferous mine or mill
<br />in this state, who fails to comply with the provisions herein set forth, shall be deemed gmlty of a misde-
<br />meanor against this. act, and, when not otherwise provided, shall be liable to the penalty proscribed is
<br />section 13 of this act, or to a fine oY not leas than twenty-five dollars (~a.00), nor mom than three hundred
<br />dollars ($30D.00), for each and every provision not complied with, or both, at the discretion of the court.
