Burns, and James Doyle, who afterward took <br />in John Harman, The original claim consisted of about 110 of <br />an acre. About a year after the location, they made their <br />first shipment of ore, since which time operations have been <br />continued and by perseverance, continuous:deVelopment, and <br />aoquieition of nevr property, it has attained its present prominenoe, <br />TOPOGRAPHY. <br />The property oooupies most of the northern, eastern and <br />southern portion of Battle Jdountain, which is a well rounded hill, <br />the summit of vrhioh, has an altitude of about 10,368 ft.
