<br />The granter part of this work has been done on the 900, 700, and 800 Levels. \`ery much
<br />better progress could have peen made had we not been handicapped by imperfect hoists;
<br />[acilities. I am pleased to report the satisfactory instnllntion of a large double drum hoisting
<br />engine, and our progress, especially in the lower levels, from now on, shmild be much
<br />mono rapid.
