^ <br />ORE BODIES AND ORES. ~~ <br />The ore bodies are fissure'veins, one in number.~It strikes <br />nortr., 1G vrest, and dips 55° vrest. The vein width is from three <br />to thirty feet, length 1500 feet, height 1,000 feat, maximum, <br />30 feet, averat;•e ¢bout 5 ft. The vein filling is porphyritic <br />quartz, carryint; lead, silver, gold ai:d zinc. The walls are of <br />trachyte and porphyry. <br />The ores are smelting or concentrating. Ths concentrates are <br />sent to the smelter. Ore is also milling. They carry gold, lead, <br />zinc -and silver. <br />
