<br />The main opening, or shaft, is 4 x 8 ft, in the clear,
<br />734 ft, deep, containing tvro compartments, buoket and ladder vray,
<br />vrith levels as Pollows:-
<br />3rd level, running E,35o'ft. and 9d, 150 Pt,
<br />4th level, running E,150 Pt. and 19.400 ft,
<br />450 level, running E, 75 ft, and 17,400 Pt,
<br />5th level, running E.12b Pt, and w.b00 ft.
<br />6th level, running 9P, b50 Pt.
<br />7th level, Running E,•60 ft, and 19, 400 ft,
<br />8th level, running E,20u ft. and 9V, 660 Pt,
<br />The 8th level has a depth oP 689 ft., and at s point in same,
<br />and 360 ft. w, of the main shaft, a winze, 4 x 8 ft, in the
<br />clear, is sunk 565 Pt „ having t:~•o compartments, bucket
<br />and ladder evay, and known as the sub-marine shaft, the reason
<br />for sinking same, being to develop L'he ore shoot at that
<br />depth, as it dips to the west.
<br />Prom the marine shaft, Pive levels are driven, their
<br />depths being measured Prom the 8th level, that is, the one
<br />connecting the main shaft with the winze, viz:
<br />1?.5 level, running E. 50 Pt. and 91, 25 ft,

<br />17ork is carried on at the present time, in.stope
<br />,just over the west end oP the 8th level, also in stopes
<br />between the 420, and 62o ft. levels west oi' sub-marine shaft.
<br />The workings oP tho Delmoniao, are looated about 175
<br />Pt, to the north. R7apa and. drawin,s oP the property are in
<br />possession of Hal Sayer, the owner oP same.
<br />The hoisting is done by buoket, weight of loeid hoisted
<br />being one ton. .Uistanoe hoisted, 520 i't, in sub-marino shaft,
<br />and 689 Pt. in main shaft. The oables used are 3~4 lieroulos
<br />stesl oable for the main shaft, and 3~4 oruoible steel oable
<br />for the sub-marina shaft.
