The upper tunnel is in about 10 ft. and 4 ft. wide, and <br />le is from the right hand side going in,~.- <br />7 ft. high- NO' I' saIDe <br />No. 2 is fro <br />and is an average of 14 in. Wide, and 7 ft. high~ <br />the left side, and is an average of_4 in• x 7 ft. No• 3 is a <br />brown quartz, aad is from the top or back of the tunnel on the <br />right side near the breast. No. 4 is from a dump about 400 ft. <br />lower down the mountain, and about 200 ft. in a northerly direction <br />from tY~ vein I took the first three samPThe vein iYn ty~eilittle <br />tunnel that I could see near the d'ip' a distance of <br />tunnel I could trace to the top of the mountain, <br />about ZOO ft. The vein is a very strong looking one, an8 looks <br />as though it might get larger as it goes down' The S`lall Street <br />and other claims on that mountain is the hardest place in thelS~ill <br />Juan Co• to get to• It is about 13500 ft. above sea lerel• <br />send the samples by express this P.
