The ore goes through two batteries of two stamps each, run by steam which
is arplied direct to the stacns, thence on to the. amalgamating plates. A, set of
plates to each battery; thence to a Wilfley table. Four men run the ml11~ two
battery men, one engineer and one a:~-~lganatar.

Tha machinery consists of a seven bourse po•,vsr Atlas engine which runs the
NilFley tables and one locomotive boilers 40 horse power.
She capacity of this mill is 30 tons in 7.¢ hours. About 35 per cent. saved
on the plates. T1~e ore carries too much iron. for a lar;rer saving, The tailings
carry ti:a same values as the concentrates.
This mill cost five thousand dollars ($5000), Is now idles will start
this ~.scek.
